The hybrid brow is a revolutionary technique combining modern permanent makeup application with microblading treatments
It is a revolutionary technique that combines modern day permanent makeup with microblading. The other well known description or end result is a combination brow.
These two separate techniques have the ultimate goal of achieving an enhanced stunning defined brow. To keep it simple. Microblading techniques creates fine crisp hair strokes using a hand tool with a specific needle to suit the skin and desired end result. The second stage is using digital permanent makeup machine to create depth, volume and 3D texture alongside the microblade hair strokes again using the desired needles to create this effect.
It’s amazing, looks fabulous and may be suitable for your clients.

A hybrid brow is a combination of ombré and microblading. It gives you the hair like strokes along with a nice soft filled in powder brow. This is by far my favorite technique. This procedure may last from 1-3 years depending on the skin type and care.
With the sudden popularity and media attention to the term microblading and semi-permanant makeup, many are led to falsely believe microblading, ombre and hybrid eyebrows are not tattoo processes. Permanent cosmetics, semi-permanent makeup, micropigmentation, microshading, microblading, microfeathering, ombre, hybrid, shading, eyebrow embroidery, and 3D eyebrows are all different names for the same procedure known as cosmetic tattooing. Any time pigment is placed into the skin with any device, it is a tattoo process as defined by many well informed regulators, the medical community, Health Department, and dictionary sources.
Technically, microblading, ombre and the hybrid technique are considered permanent because the colour is implanted into the upper dermal layer of the skin and cannot be washed off. However, microblading, ombre and hybrid pigment is not implanted into the skin as deep as traditional cosmetic tattoos, therefore the pigment will fade over time rendering it semi-permanent.
Cosmetic tattooing is not suited for people who have heart conditions or are using heart medications, people with keloid scarring, who have diabetes (will require a physician's note), have skin disease or irritations, have had Botox in the last 4 weeks, have used Retin-A or Retinol in the last 2 weeks, have gotten a deep tan or chemical peels in the last 4 weeks or show any sign of sunburn to the face, are allergic to lidocaine, prilocaine, benzocaine, tetracaine, if you are pregnant or nursing, or epinephrine and anyone who has any serious medical conditions may require a physician's note.
